1909), a well-respected and progressive fine wine and craft beer shop on Massachusetts Avenue on the Lexington/Arlington line, is looking to fill a full-time, salaried position.
The opening is a multifaceted Managerial Position with a primary focus on our highly-regarded craft beer department.
Primary responsibilities will include helping to curate our shop's beer portfolio, maintaining and managing inventory, ordering and receiving deliveries, on-floor sales, performing customer deliveries, tastings, email promotions, social media, as well as interacting with existing customers and gaining new ones.
This candidate will ideally have a strong comfort with technology as well as a passion for wine, beer, spirits, and food.
This position will work with all departments (Wine, Beer, Spirits, Food) assisting with everyday tasks while also helping to grow the overall health of the business and ensure that things are operating smoothly.
There is lots of room to grow from this position and there will be tremendous opportunity to gain a rounded knowledge of the beverage industry and business in general.
The right candidate will eventually be asked to take on key-holding responsibilities.

Strong Interpersonal Skills Attention to Detail Great Sense of Humor A Sense of Accountability Ability to Work with Lots of Different People Passion for Food and Drink Drivers License, Clean driving record, and Willingness to perform deliveries Willingness to Keep Learning Ability to Multi-Task Flexible Schedule Strong Writing Skills Computer Savvy Strong on Social Media Enjoy Working in a Dynamic Environment Creative Vision Outgoing Personality Ability to Lift 40 lbs.
