Software Engineer with Security Clearance
Position
Summary:
LinQuest is seeking a Software Engineer to join a team that performs advanced research in the area of Protected SATCOM Systems.
This research requires the development of SATCOME testbeds to demonstrated new system architectures, waveforms, and enabling technology.
Development efforts are multi-disciplinary and include a wide array of activates requiring the design and implementation of software, firmware, and hardware components and subsystems.

Responsibilities:
You will assist in the design and development of software to be used within a communications testbed.
This software includes control systems software, digital signal processing software, embedded control software, and device control software.
The position involves:
1) designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages; 2) software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, and software reliability analysis; 3) Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOD and OOA); 4) software modeling and simulation; 5) front end graphical user interface design; 6) software testing and quality assurance; 7) performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, and automation; 8) supporting, maintaining and documenting software functionality; 9) integrating software with existing systems; 10) evaluating and identifying new technologies for implementation; and 11) maintaining standards compliance.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's in computer engineering or Equivalent 10 or more years of directly related experience, software algorithm development.
Developing software for a wide variety of situations, including real time software C/C+
Programing experience, Stand Template Library and/or Boost Library GIT/GITHUB, JSON, Object Oriented software design and development experience Digital Signal processing and software design experience Have worked within a Linux environment Experience with programmatically interacting with the laboratory-grate test equipment.
This position requires full onsite presence.
Eligible to obtain a Secret ClearancePreferred Skills and
Experience:
Active Secret Clearance MS in Computer Engineering 15 or more years of directly related experience.
Real Time Embedded Systems UDP Multicast and Unicast JavaScript Development MATLAB Python Programming and Scripting Communication Protocols Hardware and software integration Real time Linux kernels, tuning and performance analysis.
