Summary:
Seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to manage IT infrastructure, network systems, and provide technical support for MIT/LL IT systems.
Requirements:
Approximately 5 years of Linux administration experience.
Proficiency with RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware.
Familiarity with Dell hardware.
Experience with RedHat IDM, Windows AD, LDAP, Java, Splunk, SQL, VMware vCenter/ESXI/vSAN, Github.
Knowledge of networking applications and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, SSH, FTP, HTTP/S.
Competency in programming languages including Ansible, Shell Scripting Python PowerShell.
Experience with centralized authentication (SSSD IDM Active Directory).
Ability to configure and maintain physical and virtual servers as well as researcher workstations.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Linux RealTime Kernel.
Managing classified IT systems STIGs SCAPS RMF highly preferred.
Certifications in Solaris administration Red Hat VMWare CISSP CompTIA Security
Linux Professional Institute Certification; or ability to obtain CompTIA Security
certification within 6 months of starting.
Responsibilities:
Administration and support of all MIT/LL IT systems infrastructure within the Group.
Adopt additional technologies for Group/Laboratory needs.
Perform vulnerability remediation on secure/unclassified systems addressing issues promptly.
Troubleshoot issues across various Operating Systems including Windows Linux Mac OS etc.
Clearance:
Must possess interim secret clearance and be willing to clear up to TS from the start of the assignment.
Work Conditions:
100% onsite role working ultimately in a classified space.
Interview Process:
Technical screening followed by a second round in-person interview with a group audience.
Pay Details:
$65.
00 to $87.
