Job Title: Enterprise Content Management Administrator
Location: Lexington, MA
Duration: 12 months and 40hr/wk

Job Description:

Client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Content Management Administrator. This person will be responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of the Open Text ECM system supporting the client's internal content and document management activities. The candidate will work closely with IT and customer groups to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions and support services that provide substantial value to the business. This position reports to the System Administrator Team Lead in the Information Services Department.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day support and monitoring of enterprise class content management system in clustered environment for availability, performance, applying patches and updates
Installation and configuration of Open Text Livelink (Clustered Environment)
Install and configuration of Web infrastructure components (e.g. Web Servers and Web Server Plug-ins)
Assist in installation of third party integration products (e.g. portal connector, Google Search Appliance)
Deployment, administration and operational support of (PROD, QA, DEV) environments for multiple projects
Monitor system performance and capacity
Manage user groups, permissions, and security.
Technical consulting on the use and integration of enterprise content
Provide system and document workflow support
Partner with business users, architects, developers and testers to recommend application infrastructure and understand system design
Maintain disaster recovery procedures and participate in disaster recovery testing
Maintain ECM environment documentation
Participate in product evaluations

Required Skills:

2-4 years of prior Enterprise Document Management Systems/Content Management systems experience
Experience with Open Text Livelink (clustered environment)
Understanding of Apache HTTP Server
Experience writing and running SQL statements on Oracle
Microsoft Server 2003/2008 experience
Linux operating environment (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, 5)
Shell scripting languages e.g. Windows PowerShell, Korn, Born and/or C Shells.
Strong business acumen
Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, consensus building, analysis, research, and problem solving
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, appropriately escalate issues, prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines quickly

Desired Skills:

Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE application servers (e.g. Tomcat)
Experience with Oracle 9i/10g/11g
Knowledge of database backup and maintenance procedures
Experience with WebSphere Application/Portal Server
Open Text Certifications
Microsoft Certified Developer (MSCD) or Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE)
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery replication and failover solutions

Education/
Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
5
years of IT and business work experience with enterprise content management systems
