Duration: 12 months and 40hr/wk

Job Description:
An experienced Radar Systems Engineer is needed to support the design and implementation of a radar system sidecar to prototype wind energy interference mitigation upgrades to a ground-based range radar system. Activities may involve system analysis, modeling and simulation, oversight of the sidecar implementation, and field testing of said systems. Activities directly contribute to the preservation of U.S. radar systems critical to the measurement and calibration of dynamic, airborne targets.
Requirements:
Matlab programming experience
Strong familiarity with radar signal processing, and in particular with adaptive beamforming, channel equalization, and radar waveform design
Must have good written skills and an ability to communicate key engineering issues and conclusions
Desire and demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively learn new technologies, and adapt to new environments and methodologies
Must be a focused self-starter; strong teamwork experience and organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
MS or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics or equivalent
U.S. citizenship, with ability to obtain and retain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance
Desirable Attributes:
Familiarity with radio frequency signal processing design and troubleshooting
Familiarity with statistical data analysis techniques
Desire and ability to participate in field testing which may involve travel
