Job Title: Computer Systems Administrator
Location: Lexington, MA
Duration: 12 months and 40hr/wk

Job Description:
A Computer Systems Administrator is needed for a network of Red Hat Linux systems. Responsibilities will include providing technical support to users, updating system configurations, solving user problems with applications compatibility, installation, and operating systems/extensions. Will also manage computer system security reporting and tracking, network configuration management, operating system control, computer resource allocations, backup and recovery operations, data consolidation and migration, and capacity planning. Knowledge of security procedures, computer networking, Shell Scripting, EMC Networker, MATLAB and a variety of third party applications. Must be team-oriented and intent on satisfying end users.
BS in computer science or related field with strong computer and networking background is required.
Qualifications:
Strong Linux knowledge and experience.
At least five years experience as a system administrator
At least three years experience administering Unix systems
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Security:
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable period of time, and must be Top Secret eligible.
