Abacus Technology is in need of a Manufacturing/Production Specialist to provide production support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N;) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
This is a prospective position that we've posted with the intention of building a pipeline of candidates based on submitted proposals and pending contract awards.
Evaluate, assess, and recommend techniques, methods and processes for manufacturing and production. Use engineering procedures and methods to assess and evaluate, practices, procedures, etc. Conduct reviews and evaluations of existing practices, critiques and propose alternative methods and procedures. Review and assess overall quality practices and procedures and assess and evaluate production and manufacturing outputs.
Positions available at multiple experience levels including entry (0-3 years), mid (3-7 years), senior (7
years), and principal (7+years directly related and advanced degree). Bachelor's degree in a related field;Master's or graduate degree preferred for senior-level and principal positions. Must be detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Requires good communications skills and the ability to work professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
