Do you have a strong technical background and an interest in Business Intelligence for a world-class production system?
In our Manufacturing group, you will be at the heart of how we view computer integrated manufacturing at Cimpress. You will be part of a small, highly capable, dedicated, and international team that serves demanding users around the world by designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration and analytic solutions in our multi-TB data warehouse environment. The team supports the infrastructure used throughout our data-driven company for decision support, performance management, problem investigation, and forecasting.
In this role you will:
Create and maintain ETL processes (using stored procedures, SSIS, DTS or other ETL applications)
Create and maintain data delivery processes using a variety of tools (SSAS, SSRS, QlikView, Microstrategy, Cognos)
Be responsible for requirements gathering, customer support, and continuous improvement
Partner with stakeholders to acquire a deep knowledge of current data challenges
Recommend a best of breed approach to data solutions, taking advantage of commercial data solutions and in-house development teams
Mentor and guide cross functional implementation team
Solve problems, prioritize deliverables, and manage technical scope
Ideal hands-on technical experience and expertise would include :
Ability to articulate differences between solution methods as well as the challenges and approaches of integrating solutions built on different platforms
Logical and physical database design of production-focused databases
Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities in cross-disciplinary teams
Familiarity with the following a plus :
Experience with MPP databases (Vertica, Teradata, )
Experience with agile (e.g., Scrum) or lean (e.g., Kanban) methodologies and practices
Ability to learn, apply, and evangelize new technologies and programming languages as required
Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar preferred

Proven leadership skills including: mentoring, coaching, and collaboration; must be able to inspire and mentor junior and senior developers
Strong communication skills: writing (formal and informal), verbal, presentation/instruction

Proactively engage external groups to resolve issues, to identify and reduce risk, to promote strategic alignment and to strengthen partner relationships
Strong work ethic with regard to on-time delivery and completeness of assignments
Embrace and promote transparency of systems, methodologies and decision driversEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
