Job Description:
The Global HCP Engagement Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the compliant execution, process management and administration for the global electronic approval system for interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs). The position requires oversight for activities such as coordinating training, identifying and resolving systematic and process issues and concerns, partnering with key business stakeholders and the third party service provider(s) to enhance the system's effectiveness and efficiency, monitoring transactions, document flow, approvals and exceptions and developing reports.
As the business system owner for HCP Engagement, this individual will be required to conduct fair market value analyses, perform eligibility screening of HCPs and ensure standardized contract templates are in place. Because of these responsibilities, the individual will serve as a key compliance resource for stakeholders across the commercial organization. Also the candidate will provide direct support to help customers adhere to the Company's highest ethics and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
50% - Business Process and Operational Excellence
Conduct fair market value analyses and perform eligibility screening of HCPs using the Company-approved tool and information submitted by requestors prior to engagement
Compile and summarize rate data and provide requestors with relevant rate information and documentation
Perform screening of HCPs against required exclusion and debarment lists
Compile and summarize screening results and provide requestors with confirmations
Continuously improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes
Resolve and/or escalate system issues and concerns on a timely basis
Conduct ongoing monitoring of system requests, reviews, approvals and archives
50% - Business Systems Management
Administer the global electronic approval system for interactions with HCPs
Ensure end users are properly trained on system's functionality and process-related requirements, through delivery of formal hands-on training sessions
Serve as a subject matter expert to address questions, provide advice and conduct ad-hoc training
Identify systematic and process issues and concerns through direct observation, monitoring and client feedback, and partner with the third party service provider(s) to develop and implement solutions
Continuously monitor transactions to ensure reviewers and approvers are appropriate, documents are reviewed on a timely basis, approvals are appropriately stamped and exceptions are followed-up on and resolved, and activities are archived
Develop reports to prepare reconciliations for aggregate spend reporting, business analytics and exception reporting
Coordinate system upgrades and business requirements across regions

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
