Laser Research and Development

The Laser Technology and Applications Group seeks an individual to assist in the development of laser and electro-optic systems.
Applications of these systems include directed energy, lidar, science, sensing, and other applications that can impact national security.
The candidate will cooperate with a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of the design, construction, testing, characterization, and analysis of optical systems.

Requirements:
BS in engineering or physical science.
An interest in applying knowledge toward problems in laser physics and applications is critical, and experience with laser physics, adaptive optics, control systems, or electro-optical systems is a plus.
Candidates should be interested in continuing to learn and in expanding their abilities and skills while undertaking challenging problems.
Highly proficient laboratory and analytical skills, excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a team are all essential.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
